About the Escuela Key PTA
The Escuela Key PTA is a volunteer-led organization of parents, teachers, staff, and community members working together to support every student.
Through programs, events, fundraising, advocacy, and volunteerism, the PTA helps provide many of the resources, opportunities, and experiences that make Escuela Key such a special place to learn and grow.
Whether you’re new to Key or have been part of our community for years, there are many ways to get involved. Membership, volunteering, and donations all help support our students, teachers, and school community.
What the PTA Does
Funds additional field trips and transportation to help expand learning beyond the classroom.
Coordinates start-of-year school supply kits and provides assistance so students have what they need to begin the year.
Provides classroom supplies, books, educational resources, and other support throughout the year.
Helps make PTA-sponsored enrichment, camps, and other opportunities accessible to more Key families.
Supports community events and school traditions including Hispanic Heritage Fiesta, Noche Internacional, Rocktober Fest, and Field Day.
Funds teacher-led projects, classroom resources, equipment, and professional development.
Supports programs including Reflections, STEM Night, Book Fair, After-School Enrichment, Odyssey of the Mind, and Encore Stage & Studio.
Celebrates Key teachers and staff through meals, Teacher Appreciation Week, the TOAST Happy Hour, and Apicultores Awards.
Helps Key families through scholarships, school supply assistance, Holiday Giving, and other community support programs.
Get Involved
The Escuela Key PTA is powered by volunteers, with opportunities that fit different schedules, interests, and levels of commitment. Help at an event, support a program, join a committee, share a skill, or volunteer behind the scenes from home.
Some opportunities take just 30 minutes or an hour, while others involve a larger commitment. Every contribution helps strengthen our school community.
Join the Escuela Key PTA
Every Escuela Key family is invited to be part of the PTA. Annual membership is just $10 per person and helps strengthen our collective support for students, teachers, and our school community.
Fundraising and donations help make our student programs, teacher support, family assistance, and community events possible, with more than 90% of funds raised going directly to support our school community.
