💬 Stay Connected With Your Grade
Join your PTA grade-level WhatsApp group to receive reminders, learn about volunteer opportunities, ask general questions, and connect with other families in your child's grade. Email comms@keypta.org with your child's name and grade to join our WhatsApp community.
Families can also use the PTA Family Directory to find and connect with other Escuela Key families.
🤝 What Do Room Parents Do?
Room Parents are family volunteers who help connect teachers, families, and the PTA. They work together across each grade to:
- Coordinate volunteers for Friday Folders, field trips, classroom activities, and celebrations.
- Share important teacher and PTA information in the grade-level WhatsApp group.
- Help important communications reach families in English and Spanish.
- Support grade-level activities, including the parent social and end-of-year celebration.
- Connect families with helpful PTA and school resources.
Teachers determine what support they need, and Room Parents help coordinate that support.
Room Parents do not replace direct communication between families and teachers. Questions about an individual student or classroom concern should be directed to the teacher or appropriate school staff member.
