The Key PTA invites you to be part of the Escuela Key Elementary Directory!
The Escuela Key Elementary Directory is an invaluable resource for connecting with friends and classmates during the 2020-2021 school year. As students and families embark on a new, virtual learning experience this year, keeping in touch is just as - if not more - important than ever.
The Escuela Key Elementary PTA uses AtoZConnect (https://atozconnect.com) to provide the Escuela Key Elementary Directory. To be included in the PTA School Directory, parents have two options:
Option #1. Online in APS ParentVue. Complete APS’ online verification process in the ParentVue system. Look for “PTA Directory Participation” and click “Yes”. This gives APS/Escuela Key Elementary permission to share your information with the PTA. When opting into the Directory online, please note the following:
· The PTA Directory option will default to NO in the system each year. You must change it to YES if you’d like to be included in the Directory.
· Opt-in applies to each student. If a Key family has more than one student in APS, the opt-in selection must be complete for each student’s profile.
Option #2. AtoZConnect Online.
Go directly to https://atozconnect.com/cls/login.php to create a new account or access an existing account. You can also contact one of our Directory Administrators who can set up a new account for you, and add your information to the system directly.
Families that already use AtoZConnect’s mobile app should expect to receive AtoZConnect notifications starting in early September, 2020. Some families may have already received a notification from AtoZConnect to update their information for the school year. Please check your e-mail spam folders. You’ll be prompted to login to the online directory and verify current information. The Key PTA Directory Team will provide more information in the coming weeks via the PTA Listserv and updates on the Key PTA website.
Do I have to be part of the directory? No. Participation in the directory is voluntary. Information contained in the directory can only be (1) entered online or via the mobile app directly by a parent, or (2) entered into the AtoZConnect system by the Key PTA Directory team if parents have chosen to “opt-in” through APS’ online verification process in ParentVue (see below). To access the First Day Packet forms and complete the online verification process, go to https://www.apsva.us/registering-your-child/annual-online-verification-process/.
What’s next? Make sure you complete the online verification in ParentVue and register an account, or update an existing one, at https://atozconnect.com/cls/login.php/. The Key PTA Directory Team will work with Key School staff in September and October to validate family/parent opt-in status when finalizing the online AtoZConnect data.
